What is an iS Clinical Fire & Ice facial?

The legendary iS CLINICAL FIRE & ICE FACIAL is designed to rapidly and safely resurface and rejuvenate the skin with little or no downtime. This professional treatment helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves the look of uneven skin tone and blemish-prone skin, resulting in a more youthful complexion.

What does a Fire & Ice facial treat?

This professional treatment helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves the look of uneven skin tone and blemish-prone skin, resulting in a more youthful complexion.

Is there any downtime?

The Fire & Ice Facial is a ‘no downtime’ treatment. This means you shouldn’t experience any shedding, prolonged redness, irritation or inflammation. However in the immediate hours following the treatment, the skin may look a little flushed. This should subside in approximately 4-6 hours.

Prior to your Fire & Ice facial:

To ensure that you receive the best possible results, preparation prior to treatment is a vital part of the process.

  • Prepare skin with our recommended skincare regime.

  • Avoid waxing or laser for 48 hours prior to treatment.

  • If you are using any product/s containing vitamin A, glycolic (or any resurfacing ingredient) as a part of your skin care regime, you are advised to stop using these for three days prior to treatment.

  • Please notify the clinic in good time of any medications that you are taking. Taking certain prescription medications (for example, Roaccutane) may mean that you cannot be treated.

  • Please notify your Practitioner if your medical status changes or if you become pregnant.

How often should I get a Fire & Ice facial?

We suggest four times a year and as often as every four weeks. It takes the skin 4 weeks on average to complete the full cycle of cell growth and exfoliation. Therefore a facial every four weeks helps the skin through that process and wonderful results.

How long will the Fire & Ice facial last?

With multiple treatments, fine lines and wrinkles fade and soften. In fact, after three-to-five Fire & Ice Facials, nearly all patients reported that their skin felt smoother and looked younger with a noticeable glow.
